I have been very fortunate throughout my career to be mentored by great leaders and I would love to give back to the tech community as much as I can.
To be able to help the technical community in any way I can, to succeed through their career paths.
To share knowledge and experience
Follow your heart, but take your brain with you
I am a passionate geek, I have experience mentoring at work and in my free time. If anyone is looking for advice and I can help a bit, why not.
I have found talking to others facing similar challenges as me to be incredibly helpful in the past; it helps you think through problems, it's a great way to share knowledge and knowing you are not alone with these challenges often makes them a lot easier to manage. My hope is that I can provide that for others as well.
Engineering Manager with excellent technical background and great understanding of the entire product development lifecycle. More than 10 years of professional history from global companies and startups especially in the SaaS space, now leading a development team at Pipedrive. I care deeply about building trust between team members, helping people get things done, and learn continuously. I'm product-minded and care about UX, company culture and iterating on processes. Enthusiastic about agile and lean software development, Domain Driven Design, cloud native services and continuous delivery.
How to scale between 4 engineers and 40 and more importantly how to support the people you hire, choosing between management and individual contributor tracks and supporting your own mental health.
It's my pleasure to do it, and it's also a learning step for me as well. As a Junior-Mid level dev, I can maybe give a more relative understanding the junior life, from my perspective.
I enjoy learning and nothing improves your understanding more than having to share it with others.
I have a passion for people and a passion for technology. Mentoring helps to bring both passions together and is about building strong trust relationships whilst helping to guide people down the right path for them, which often is not the path they were expecting. Our careers like our lives are about decisions, mentoring helps us to verbalise that inner conversation, analyse it, make the decision that feels right and look back learn from them.
Mentoring
Provide new starters and emerging talent useful tips and advise to grow and develop their skills and techniques to land on opportunities
I love expanding my network and helping others
I want to support people in their path towards the careers and opportunies they strive for
To help out someone during these challenging times
Networking and discover what other issues people face
I’ve been working on the web for over 18 years, experienced high level roles in numerous industries. I want people to learn from my mistakes :)
I enjoy mentoring and helping people grow to the next phase of their careers. It’s also a good way for me to stay connected with the rest of the community and start building Qatalog’s engineering brand.
I am interested in helping people from diverse backgrounds especially get into the Tech industry and navigate how to get there as there is a proportionately low percentage of representatives within this industry. I am also very experienced having worked in Tech for 10+ years and knowledgeable on adopting agile ways of working and I want to share my knowledge with those who may need it in order for them excel in their careers and liberate their peers/organisation!
I love to give back to the tech industry and help people achieve their goal. I've been a guest teacher / lecturer for some time, giving talks at universities and bootcamps. Absolutely love interacting with as many people as possible
The most important values that link to my passion for mentoring include being a relationship deeper, an esteem builder and a strong emphasis on feedback. My words and actions help people build their self confidence and self esteem, I love to help others believe in themselves and I care about helping people achieve their goals. From my experience I have learned how to give people accurate developmental feedback so that they know where they can improve. I have a great amount of experience in different fields and sectors and do a lot of networking to hear useful info and stories from others, this combined is really useful when becoming a mentor and helping others build a network to improve their career and confidence. In summary, I love helping people!
I'd like to inspire and follow up with passionate people by helping them build a good portfolio and career.
To help people overcome some of the challenges I have!
Over the course of my career I've had the opportunity to move around a few different industries working alongside some amazing and insightful individuals. Now almost 20 years into my career I would love the opportunity to pass on some of my own insights and help others with their careers.
I've been mentoring informally on career and trained as a coach. I'd like to reach out to people from diverse cultures, connect and make a difference.
I'd have loved a mentor in parts of my career so really want to share by giving back. I am also a certified professional coach and can use the mentoring skills i have practiced as part of this
To pay it forward. Share and grow knowledge.
When you teach - you learn.
I'm currently a Senior Engineering Leader at Skyscanner, responsible for 75 engineers across 10 teams & 4 offices. Since joining Skyscanner 7 years ago as a junior engineer, I've taken on line management and led many teams across the organisation. On the technical side, my background is primarily is web development, during which I led an 18 month project to decentralise and re-build Skyscanner's web platform to support the fast-pace and rapid growth the company was experiencing at the time. I particularly enjoy supporting individuals and teams as they grow and develop. I've hired and onboarded 40 engineers in the past 9 months and turned around several under-performing teams over the last few years. I'm passionate about helping other engineering leaders and ICs grow and develop in their careers and is where I find myself focussing a lot of my time - I look forward to extending this to the broader engineering community and helping others in their careers.
I've had a variety of experiences within small/large and small->large companies and have gone from Engineer to Manager and back again. I have a lot of experience to pass on even if it advice on what not to do :-)
Giving back to the community. I have been lucky enough to work on rewarding and interesting projects in healthcare and music. A career in tech should be fun and I'd love to help others get the role that best suits their aspirations and interests.
I mentor groups at the Le Wagon coding bootcamp and would like to extend my reach!
I’m an experienced leader with a passion for people and getting the best out of them. I started my career as a Software Engineer with the majority of my expertise being in developing Java applications. I now focus on managing and leading engineering teams in order to successfully deliver projects. I drive excellent organisational and communication skills and believe strongly in continuous improvement. I also believe a lack of confidence and self belief is what holds the majority of people back so I coach people to become more confident and drive self improvement.
I am passionate about becoming a better leader and working with people to help them achieve their goals and dreams is the best practice.
Love sharing the bit of knowledge that I have gained throughout my career and help people flourish in their career.
I have been hiring, managing and developing engineering talent for over 10 years. Happy to support someone who wants to learn and grow.

Hello, I'm currently a manager, but also a developper, and have been oscillating between the two during my career. I've been working in big companies and small startup, got my hands dirty in the code and navigated into management politics also. I'm not sure if I can be a good mentor, but I love to chat and discuss about career trajectories, management, etc.
I love helping people :) Experienced, reliable, and easy to work with software engineer.
Because we're doing the world a disservice if we learn and don't share.
I am a very enthusiastic learner and passionate about technology, personal development and team/organisation leadership. Sharing this knowledge and helping other people grow, drives me and motivates me. During my time in Tech Leadership roles, I have helped many engineers unlock their leadership potential, grow professionally, discover what they want to do next and how to achieve it. I combine different coaching and mentoring tools and I usually mix self discovery with sharing my own experience.
Being in the tech industry for over 20 years I've worked across different industries, as part of many teams, and with even more people. Starting out as an engineer, my excitement came from knowing my code is being used by customers. Now my excitement comes from helping the people along in their career journey. Mentorship is an important part of this and am happy to talk to anyone to see if I can help their journey.
I'm a full stack Javascript engineer & consultant. I use Agile methods to help build digital products, teams and systems. I would like to help those who are starting their careers and in junior roles as I received a lot of help at that level and it made a real difference in my career.
10+ years worth of building products, services, systems and engineering teams all over the world; currently at Skyscanner. Excited to help anyone looking to grow in their career as well as learn from folk also!
I was a later starter in tech. At 30 I went back to uni to get my degree in Software Development. I left uni as a JavaScript / Front End enthusiast and climbed through the ranks at AO from JS dev to Front End Dev manager, to Head of Front End to Engineering manager in five years. I was previously a college tutor, so I really enjoy the coaching / mentoring aspect of my job. I've got plenty of experience in software development and delivery at enterprise level through AO, I've hired dozens of devs and learnt an awful lot on my journey from uni graduate to where I am now so hopefully some of that experience can be of use to others. Plus I'm still a real JavaScript nerd and coding enthusiast at heart if you want to geek out and talk tech!
I am an engineering manager currently, after years of being a developer before that. I got some great mentors in various companies and teams I worked in, so I would very much like to give back my share of helping people succeed, that's why I am very happy to offer to be a mentor myself now and pass that knowledge forward.
I owe much of my career to fanstic mentors and managers. A huge part of leading the engineering team at TOSHI is mentorship and it's one of my favourite aspects of the job. Any opportunity to help where I can for people early on in their careers is a no-brainer for me.
I am currently a software engineer at Amex looking to support young graduates with their careers in computer science
I've been a software engineer for 9 years now, before I got my first role I freelanced for 3 years. I made a lot of mistakes when I started and I make a number of them today. Perhaps someone could use my experiences to avoid making the same mistakes, so that they can enjoy making some new ones!
I am currently Engineering Manager at Board Intelligence. Previously I co-founded and was CTO at a small development agency and a few startups in edutech and foodtech.
Software Engineering is, and has been for the last eighteen years, a truly rewarding way for me to contribute to a wide variety of businesses and organisations in a very positive manner. At the heart of my understanding of what I do, is the idea that by bringing my skills to bear I can solve problems and create opportunities for the people I work with to achieve the goals laid out for the organisation that we are helping to build together.
I have more than 15 years experience in IT, having started in the CGI and video FX field, and then moved to web development and distributed systems, becoming a team/tech lead, a VP Tech and Head of Engineering.
